    LAND ROVER/JAGUAR ENGINES

    Jaguar Land Rover have produced a wide range of excellent cars that are loved by their owners worldwide. Unfortunately, as with most car makes, advanced engines can run into problems. We have over 10 years experience working predominantly on Jaguar Land Rover vehicles, having rebuilt and replaced hundreds of engines.

    WHAT CAN WE HELP WITH?

    Engine Failure can happen for a wide variety of reasons. Sometimes it can just be due to poor maintenance, but unfortunately with Jaguar Land Rover there are some commonly known weak-points that can leave you stranded. Thankfully, we've seen and fixed them all!

    Timing Chain Tensioner Failure

    This problem has been reported in some Jaguar and Land Rover models. The timing chain tensioner may fail prematurely, leading to timing chain noise, loss of power, or significant engine damage if not addressed.

    Oil Pump Failure

    More common on the Land Rover TDV6 engines (2.7 and 3.0), oil pump failure can lead to inadequate lubrication, especially if the problem isn't identified immediately and the car continues to be driven for some time.

    Camshaft Failure

    Again, more common but not limited to the TDV6 engines, a breaking Camshaft can unfortunately result in catastrophic engine damage, requiring a complete rebuild. As one of the best-selling engines, this is a job we undertake daily.

    Overheating & Leaks

    Many Jaguar Land Rover models rely on electronic reading of oil and coolant levels. Unfortunately, by the time the message appears on your dash, it could be too late. Oil and Coolant leaks can result in engine damage due to poor lubrication and overheating.

      Great garage definitely to fix your engine issues, they are Land Rover `specialist and mine had a major issue that in other garages they didn't know how to fix it and they were charging me more than NZ Garages, they have plenty of experience to fix your Land Rover with an affordable price, engines are the most expensive repairs and this garage is great, they have a lot of cars to fix so you need to be patient to have yours ready, but believe me they are honest and very good persons there, I was surprise, wasn't;t expecting that my car will be driving as a new car, I already drove more than 200 miles and the car doesn't have any issue, happy that I send my car to Niel, any other issue your car might have they will let you know, giving them 5 stars as they are very reliable.
